Vaccinations update at St Luke's

The vaccination programme at St Luke's Hospital has gathered speed with all patients receiving their first Pfizer vaccination on the 23rd December. Admissions since that time have quickly been provided with the Astra Zeneca vaccine by our GP. For the staff team, 61 members of the team have been vaccinated, with arrangements in place for our remaining members to receive their first vaccination - some of our staff have had to wait until they were in a position to have the vaccination to ensure that they do not suffer from any side effects. 13 members of staff have now had both vaccinations. Our colleagues in the Radiology department based at St Luke's have also received their first vaccination.

As the first nursing home to receive the Covid-19 vaccinations in the county, we are pleased that we are playing our part in helping to combat this devastating disease.
