Make a difference by giving a gift of care
St Luke’s Hospital, which is a registered charity, supports over 300 patients and their families every year to live well. Many of our patients are frail, elderly and vulnerable and require 24-hour care from a multi-skilled team.
This is where our supporters can make all the difference. A donation can help St Luke’s develop new facilities such as our recently opened second floor. Donations can be used to fund new pieces of key equipment and help to pay for some of the array of activities the team organise each week.

How you can support St Luke’s
Leave a gift in your will

A legacy left to St Luke’s can transform our care. A gift left in a will has helped us to build the much needed second floor at St Luke’s Hospital, enabling us to support many more people each year now that we have the capacity. Legacies can also help us to buy vital pieces of equipment or help to support new staff roles within the organisation. Whether you leave us a percentage of your estate or a cash sum, however large or small, every gift means so much to us.

Corporate support

Many businesses like to select a Charity of the Year – a great cause that your staff and customers can focus on all year round.
Raise your profile by choosing us as your charity for a whole year and help everyone involved understand how St Luke’s makes a difference to hundreds of patients each year. You can see your total grow and watch the pennies turn into pounds. It’s a great way to boost morale and promote teamwork.
Your money will go directly towards the costs of caring for our patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Your help will support the development of our services, the purchase of much needed equipment and support all our core services. We can arrange a visit for your team to come and see how we work.
Fundraise for us

Whether you are an individual, group or company your support is vital. Providing excellent care means that we must rapidly react to our patients' needs, and we couldn’t do it without your help. Your generous assistance and donations ensure that we can develop our services and facilities to ensure our patients receive the best care.
Supporting our work by registering with Gift Aid, making a regular gift, a one-off donation, or through your own fundraising means that you’ll be directly helping us to support hundreds of patients each year. Thank you.
Grants from trusts and foundations

We are very fortunate to have a number of grant makers who have supported St Luke’s Hospital since it first came to Headington in the 1980s. The gift of a grant can help St Luke’s make very big changes such as the development of the second floor added to the Hospital in 2018. Although we are not a big charity, we do have big ambitions to be able to develop our services in the future so that we can support more people than ever before. A grant can bring about these changes much faster for St Luke’s to benefit more people in our community. You may know a trustee of a grant giving body; a personal introduction can help us make a connection to a new funder. Please get in touch if you can introduce us to a contact - a recommendation is always useful for both the funder and the charity.
