Occupational Therapy (OT) aims to enable people, whatever their age, to make the most of their abilities. "Occupation" refers to practical and purposeful activities that increase satisfaction, maintain a sense of identity and contribute to a feeling of autonomy as an individual.
The Lead Occupational Therapist at St Luke’s and has over 20 years’ experience in healthcare and rehabilitation and is a passionate advocate for each person staying at St Luke’s to have opportunities to keep their independence, individuality, and interests at the forefront of their care.


Our Occupational therapy team at St Luke’s is also able to provide advice and assistance on equipment and home adaptation if you are planning to return home. Our Lead Occupational Therapist is able to conduct a home assessment to aid in this process to understand your exact needs and allow them to make the most appropriate suggestions.
This might include a referral to the NHS or Social Services however it can also be assessed privately with the Occupational Therapist here on an individual basis (additional charges may apply).
