Our facilities and services include:

The Chapel
Patients, visitors and friends of all denominations are welcome to use the hospital chapel at any time and join in the services.

Christian chapel services are held weekly. Additional services are also conducted at Easter, Christmas and special feasts. The services are conducted by the Chaplains from the local NHS hospital and the Roman Catholic Parish Priest.

A 24 hour on-call Chaplaincy service is available for sick or terminally ill patients.

The Garden
To the west of the private car park is a beautiful, secluded and well-maintained garden, which is accessible to everyone as part of the Quiet Garden Trust Scheme.

The garden is accessible to wheelchair users and our patients and visitors are encouraged to make maximum use of the garden.

Catering
All meals are prepared in the well equipped, modern kitchen and a choice of meals are offered at all meal services. Special diets, such as diabetic meals are always available.The menus compiled by the Chef are changed regularly and take account of seasonal ingredients.

Recreational Activities
Our Activities Helpers arrange and organise a range of activities and entertainment that are appropriate to the needs of our patients.

Past activities have included:
• Visits by a specially trained “pat dog”
• Art workshops
• Book clubs, with readings and discussions
• Musical concerts
• Flower arranging
• Piano music and songs
• Aromatherapy
• Concerts by local school children
• Visits from the mobile library
• Dance displays
• Bring and buy sales
• Special events for Christmas, Easter, etc
