Philosophy of Care
St Luke’s staff are committed to caring for all patients in a holistic and non-intrusive manner. The staff strive to maintain the independence and self-esteem of the patients, in a comfortable, clean, individualised and caring environment.
Long Term Care
St Luke’s offers 24 hour long term nursing care for frail, older people. To discuss or arrange a long stay admission, please telephone the Matron on 01865 228873, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
The first four weeks of a long stay admission are regarded as a trial period for the benefit of the patient and are charged at our prevailing minimum rate. During the trial period, to enable St Luke’s to provide the most appropriate level of care, the Matron carries out a comprehensive patient assessment, before advising the ongoing cost of care.
Pre-admission visits are advised and welcomed, appointments are offered Monday to Friday. To arrange a visit please telephone the administration department on 01865 228873.
Short Term Care
We offer short stay respite care to give you, or your family, a short break. We also offer post operative rehabilitative care, for people who need a further period of nursing and physiotherapy following surgery, or a recent hospital admission.
To discuss or arrange a short stay respite or rehabilitative care admission, please telephone the administration department on 01865 228873, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
