Care & Rehabilitation
Whether you are here for long-term nursing care, short-stay post-operative rehabilitation or respite want to support you to be as independent as possible during your time with us.
We seek regular feedback from all of our patients/residents and their families to ensure we are continually reviewing what we offer as a service and what improvements, if any, can be made.
We are always happy to answer any questions and where possible we will try to accommodate any requests that you make, whether it be rearranging your room or finding a space suitable for you to have a get together with your family.
St Luke's has no set visiting hours; your family and friends are welcome at anytime all year round.
51 En-Suite Bedrooms
We have a number of bedrooms that come furnished with a range of furniture and a profiling bed. We are able to provide wider beds where appropriate.
You are more than welcome to bring your own furniture in with you, and we are happy to assist in arranging the room to your liking.
If you want pictures on the wall one of our dedicated maintenance team can help at your request. We want St Luke's to feel like home and will take all the steps to help you get there.
Maintain your independence
In our recently renovated and additional rooms the en-suite benefits from a shower with an optional adjustable chair.
For patients/residents who are more independent and able to attend to their own personal care needs, it can be a wonderful addition to the stay.
If you are in a room with no shower we have a number of large bath and shower rooms on each floor. Nurses are readily available to provide assistance as required.
As part of our expansion, we have also added a wonderful spa bathroom if you want to enjoy a soak in the tub.
We have a number of communal spaces throughout the hospital. Patients/residents are allowed to use these whenever they would like to.
They include; three day rooms/living areas, three dining rooms, a library and as part of our recent building works we now have an indoor garden room which has a wonderful view of our gardens.
We also benefit from having an onsite chapel, weekly Church of England service take place on Wednesdays and we have a Roman Catholic service on the first Monday of the month. At all other times, the space is available for use and is a good space for quiet reflection.
Access to the garden is also available year-round.
